• What if my travel purpose is not covered by any of the Myanmar eVisa types? 

  For any other visa type, visit the nearest Myanmar embassy or consulate. 

• What activities are strictly prohibited under the Myanmar eVisa type? 

  Any form of work/employment (paid or unpaid), participating in any political rallies and other activities outside the scope of the approved visa are strictly prohibited. 

Apply for the Myanmar eVisa

To apply for the Myanmar eVisa, the applicant is required to submit an online application form:

Step 1: Fill Out the Visa Application Form: Provide passport, travel and general details. Select the available eVisa type (depends on nationality) and processing option. 

Step 2: Upload all the Documents: The documents the applicant is required to upload will vary depending on the selected eVisa type.

Step 3: Pay the Visa Fee: The fee can be paid using a credit or debit card, paypal, cryptocurrency or bank transfer (available upon the applicants request)

Step 4: Receive the Approval: The approved Myanmar eVisa is delivered to the applicant on their registered email ID. Every applicant is required to print a copy of the approved eVisa for travel.

• Each added traveller must have their own passport, details and all the other required documents. 
• Each traveller is issued a separate approved eVisa.

Myanmar eVisa Application Processing Time 

The eVisa application portal offers 3 processing options: 

• Standard Processing: It requires 6 - 8 Working Days to issue the eVisa. 
• Rush Processing: 4 - 6 Working Days are required to obtain the eVisa. 
  • Additional fee applies 
• Super-Rush Processing: The eVisa is issued within 2 - 4 Working Days. 
  • Additional fee applies 

Note: Processing time are estimate and in most cases the eVisa is issued before the stated time. 

• When does the processing time begins?

  The processing time begins once the application is successfully submitted and the visa fee is paid.

• Printed copy of the approved eVisa
• Digital copy of all the documents used during the application process.
