Common Requirements for Tourist and Business eVisa
Passport Biopage Scan
Ensure the scan:
Shows the entire bio page, including all four corners.
Is clear, sharp, and easy to read.
Has no cropped edges, fingers, or other objects covering the page.
Note:
The passport must be valid for 6 months from the date of entry.
Travel documents are not accepted.
Applicant Photo
Ensure the photograph:
Is taken during the last 3 months
Is clear, sharp, and high quality.
Is taken against a plain white background.
Shows the applicant facing the camera directly.
Additional Document Required for Myanmar Tourist eVisa
Myanmar Tourist eVisa applicants are also required to submit the following documents:
Proof of Accommodation
Submit proof of accommodation for your stay in Myanmar. Accepted accommodation includes the following: hotel, motel, inn, guest house, resort, boat accommodation
Residential or private home addresses are not accepted for Tourist eVisa applications.
Return Travel Ticket or Trip Itinerary
For Air Travel
Submit a confirmed return-travel ticket
For Land Travel (Kawthaung International Land Border Checkpoint)
Submit a detailed trip plan instead of a return ticket. The trip plan should clearly show the intended travel dates and proposed itinerary in Myanmar.
Additional Requirements for Myanmar Business eVisa
Upload an official invitation letter from the organiser that states the business purpose and the visit duration. It must include the applicant's and the company’s details, along with a signature/stamp.
Business eVisa Requisition Letter from Inviting Company
Submit a Business e-Visa Requisition Letter issued by the inviting company in Myanmar, requesting the issuance of a Business eVisa for the applicant.
It must include the purpose of the visit, applicant details, and an authorised signature with a company seal.
Company Extract
If the inviting company is local, upload its Certificate of Incorporation. If it is a foreign investment company, submit the Certificate of Registration of the Branch Office.
Note: The inviting company cannot be an NGO/INGO.
Company Extract
Upload a Company Extract as official proof of the company’s legal registration and status. It should show key details like the company name, registration number, and registered address.
