The Myanmar express visa refers to the Myanmar eVisa application submitted with rush or super-rush processing for faster visa approval. 

Travellers with urgent or immediate travel plans to visit Myanmar for tourism or business purposes can select a faster processing option offered by the online visa portal.

Rush and Super-Rush Processing Options 

The applicant needs to select rush or super-rush processing option to obtain visa urgently or immediately. 

Any of these option can be selected by the applicant at the time of applying. 

  • Rush Processing takes 4 - 6 Working Days to issue the eVisa 
  • Super-Rush Processing takes 2 - 4 Working Days to deliver the eVisa. 

Important Note: Rush and super-rush processing only reduces the processing time; it does not change visa validity, application process, requirements, permitted stay, or entry conditions. 

When to Select the Rush or Super-Rush Processing Option

Travellers must select any of these option when their travel plan are urgent or immediate. 

Note: The visa application can only be submitted for the eVisa types issued by Myanmar, such as tourist eVisa and business eVisa. 

Extra Fee for Faster Processing 

Choosing rush or super-rush processing requires applicant to pay additional fee. 

This fee is separate from the Myanmar eVisa fee

The fee can be paid using a credit/ debit card, paypal, cryptocurrency or bank transfer (available upon applicant’s request).

Eligibility Criteria and Documents Requirements 

Anyone from countries eligible for Myanmar eVisa can obtain the eVisa on urgent or immediate basis. 

The documents requirement does not change by the selected processing option but does change by the eVisa type applied for (tourist or business). 

Common documents required are: 

  • Passport bio-page scan. The passport must be valid for 6 months from the arrival date. 
  • Passport-size photograph. Taken within the last 6 months, reflecting the applicant’s current appearance.

Myanmar eVisa Validity and Stay Duration 

The validity and stay offered by Myanmar eVisa are: 

  • Tourist eVisa: Allows only tourism related travel purposes such as sightseeing, vacation, general exploration. 
    • Validity: 90 days from the date of issue.
    • Stay Duration: 28 days 
    • Entry Type: Single
  • Business eVisa: Allows entry into the country for short-term business purposes attending events, conference or other professional activities. 
    • Validity: 90 days from issuance. 
    • Stay Duration: 70 days 
    • Entry Type: Single

How to Obtain the Myanmar eVisa with Faster Processing? 

To obtain the visa urgently or immediately, follow the below steps: 

Step 1: Fill Out the Visa Application Form: Provide passport and travel details. Select a visa type and a processing option (rush or super-rush). 

Step 2: Upload the Requried Documents: Upload all the required documents. Ensure you submit clear scan to avoid resubmission. 

Step 3: Pay the Visa Fee: The fee can be paid using a credit/debit card, paypal or cryptocurrency. Note: Extra fee will apply for faster processing. 

Step 4: Receive Approval: The eVisa will be issued depending on the selected faster processing option. Super-rush processing delivers eVisa faster than rush processing. 

Note: Regularly check the registered email ID for status updates. Missing any crucial update may delay the application processing. 

Possible Delays in Express eVisa Processing

The visa issuance may delay due to the following reasons: 

  • Submitting wrong information in the application form. 
  • Uploading wrong, expired or near expiring documents. 
  • Not responding to the additional information or document request.
